• The goods must be checked and signed for in the presence of the carrier.

All products must be inspected once removed from the packaging and The Old Radiator Company notified within 48 hours of delivery of any scratches, blemishes or other damage.  Imperfect radiators should, therefore, not be fitted and The Old Radiator Company will not accept responsibility for replacement of scratched or damaged radiators once they have been fitted. This includes any consequential loss or cost of fitting. If The Old Radiator Company are not notified within 48 hours of the date on the signed delivery note then it will be deemed that The Old Radiator Company have fully complied with its obligations and claims will not be considered.
• Failure to comply with any of the above may invalidate any claims.
• We recommend that after you check the product on delivery that it is stored in its packaging to prevent damage. The Old Radiator Company cannot accept responsibility for items damaged after delivery.

The Old Radiator Company will ensure that goods are delivered in good order and cannot accept any responsibility for any damages that occur after delivery. Signing of the delivery note will be determined as acceptance that goods have been delivered in good order at the time of delivery.

Deliveries by HGV are kerbside only and we do not accept any responsibility for damage to property if our driver is invited into the aforementioned property, this is at the customer’s own risk.

Guarantees and Liabilities
Many of the goods we sell and supply are reclaimed or salvaged and as such are individual items.  These items can be over 100 years old and will, in some instances, have minor imperfections that are characteristic of their age.

A one-year guarantee is given with the reclaimed radiators.  This is subject to the product being installed by a competent person.  The guarantees in all cases are restricted to the free of charge replacement or repair of the failed product only.  Our liability does not extend beyond the repair or replacement of the product supplied by us.  Claims for either labour or damage to property are not admissible.

It is important that you satisfy yourself that the condition, quality and function of the goods is suitable for the purpose and use required. If you are not sure then you must advise The Old Radiator Company of this at the time of purchase. If The Old Radiator Company accept the returns and they are not bespoke items, then a restocking charge of 20% will be deducted from the refund, which will be the invoice price of the goods plus any carriage charges incurred.  All bespoke items are returnable at  the discretion of The Old Radiator Company and subject to a restocking fee.

Items will only be considered for return if in the same condition as first delivered.

Items will not be considered for return if they have been installed, used or altered in any way, shape or form.

The cost of returning items is for the client's account.

The Old Radiator Company cannot be held responsible for the damage caused to radiators if the system is subjected to freezing conditions and for any consequential loss or subsequent costs arising from this damage.

In the case of accessories, such as valves and brackets, being returned in an unused and sound condition within 7 days a restocking charge of 20% will be deducted from the refund, which will be the invoice price of the goods plus any carriage costs incurred.  No returns will be accepted after 7 days. New goods, which prove to be faulty in manufacture, will be replaced subject to such goods being returned in the same condition as delivered.

Consequential Loss.  The Old Radiator Company accepts no responsibility for any consequential loss or subsequent costs howsoever arising from the use of new or reclaimed materials supplied by The Old Radiator Company.

Payment of goods  Payment must be made in full and be cleared funds prior to delivery.  Any goods not fully paid for will remain the property of The Old Radiator Company until full, cleared payment has been received.

Cancellations Once acknowledged by The Old Radiator Company orders cannot be cancelled except with our consent and on terms that will indemnify us against any loss. These will be advised at the time of cancellation, if required.

Orders for non-standard products including RAL colours and optional tapping positions once acknowledged by The Old Radiator Company cannot be cancelled without full charge.

Return of goods Under no circumstances can we accept returned goods after six months of delivery without prior written acknowledgement. All goods must be suitably wrapped for transportation. All goods are subject to a minimum re-stocking charge of 20%.

Technical If requiring a radiator with optional positions for plugs and bushes, these must be specified at the time of ordering, otherwise the radiator will be supplied with B.O.E. (Bottom Opposite End) connections as standard.  The radiator bushes fitted to the radiator at time of refurbishment will be 15mm unless otherwise specified at the time of ordering.

Paint Finishes There may be a slight variation in the colour of the delivered radiator/s from the colours shown on the website and colour charts.  This is due to manufacturing tolerances in the paint or light conditions of any photographs taken showing the examples of the finishes we can supply.

Adjusting Pipe Work Prior To Delivery Whilst we endeavour to ensure all pipe centre dimensions are correct, tolerances must be considered, therefore, we strongly recommend that pipe work is not altered or adjusted until the radiator is fixed in its final position. The Old Radiator Company will not accept any responsibility for any claims relating to inaccurate pipe centre information.
